In this mid night I am just thinking about #SARS-Cov-02 and #WannaCry ransomware kill-switch domain!
WannaCry was a ransomware cryptoworm, which targeted computers running the Microsoft Windows operating system by encrypting data and demanding ransom payments in the Bitcoin cryptocurrency. It made 200,000 victims with in few days.
I am just thinking if we could solve the #Covid-19 by the same way security experts solved #WannaCry ransomware.
During the #WannaCry attack Security experts had observed that WannaCry variant with the internet-check URL: www.ifferfsodp9ifjaposdfjhgosurijfaewrwergwea[.]testing. A bug in the code logic causes the malware to actually query www.ifferfsodp9ifjaposdfjhgosurijfaewrwergwea[.]test. The malware will encrypt the files only if it cannot contact this domain . Then they registered the “killswitch” domains for previous variants to stop encryption.
I am just thinking in case of #CoVid-19 if there was any bug by simply trigger it we could able to stop this pandemic. I believe there will be some Loophole something which is very natural which will be not Drug, nor Vaccine nor Social Distancing; but some thing else will solve not only this disease but other problems too.
Because, Every problem comes with a very simple solution!
